The themes have no structure except they are all taken in Southern Africa. Most of the images are taken using the easiest settings on the camera – which say a lot about how good this Nikon camera really is. The batteries last forever and it just keeps working. Camera insurance is cheap because the camera is not worth a fortune.

African Pictures taken with a Nikon Camera seem to come out perfect every time - and the camera insurance is cheap – and that is what you need when you are trekking around Africa with a classy piece of equipment – dust, theft, and bumpy roads all add to the hazzards faced by digital equipment.

These pictures are taken in Africa – mostly Southern Africa. They are African pictures. if you want high resolution copies send me an email. Many of the African images are personal, and were taken using a Nikon camera. They are from my travels. I tried to take pictures that better represent the true places, or more prevalent places in Africa.

Pictures are taken from rural Africa – this is actually how most Africans live – in the bush, in mud structures with cattle and chickens wondering around. The houses are spread out and grouped into villages. There is usually a headman or chief that handle conflicts and looks after his people. The images represent typical life in an African village – dogs, chickens, cattle. Traditional beliefs are widely held – and the belief in the tokoloshe and the use of witch doctors and Sangomas is widely spread. I have hundred more pictures representing true African life – ask and you will receive!

Where is Africa – how does Africa really look – these images, pictures photos will give you a real idea – not the cosmopolitan cities – where millions of people live – but deep Africa where real Africans live. There lives are hard, but in saying that there is a peace and tranquility – daily tasks get done in an unhurried way and the small special things are highly valued.

Good African Images are difficult to find. In the west everyone seems to have a camera. In African countries this is not the case.

The majority of people, if they have a camera, have a cell phone camera. This results in many African Pictures, but few that can be used in print or media. The resolution is just too low. Popular pictures include African animals pictures, African Sunset images and pictures of African Symbols. The huge nature of the subject makes it difficult to catalog all the African phot0s that are available. Another popular photo subject is people. Looking for pictures of African woman usually brings up dicky pictures from suspect web sites – African girls will also find you picture of many naked African ladies. Makes it a big problem trying to sift through the nudity and smut.Chicken farming is big in South Africa – pictures of chicken houses.
